Heal, cleanse, and feel The Burn, an interactive i

Heal, cleanse, and feel The Burn, an interactive installation made by the talented @rogermooking, together with fellow artists, @javid_jah, @qubeinc, and Wyandot Elder, @catherinetammaro.

The Burn is a travelling vessel that will tour all over the city, stopping at key landmarks and destinations, including Gibson House Museum, here in North York.

The Burn is a part of Stronger TOgether, a city-wide program that helps Torontonians to recognize and reflect on the pandemic. This unique art piece also encourages people to release, let go, and heal through sacred rituals inspired by the elements of fire and water. And when the tour is over, the ashes from the burn will then be harvested, mixed into soil, and spread across the city’s gardens to promote our collective healing.

You can catch this powerful piece at Gibson House Museum from February 9 to 15, 11:00AM - 4:00PM.
