Korealicious 2026 is Ontario’s first Korean food festival — a 19-day celebration of Hansik (한식), Korean cuisine carried forward from over 500 years of tradition. From the palace kitchens that inspired Dae Jang Geum (대장금) to the everyday warmth of a neighborhood bunsik counter, Korean food is a living story of place, season, and care.

Hosted by the Korean Canadian Business Association of Ontario (KCBA) and supported by 한식진흥원 (Korean Food Promotion Institute), this festival invites Toronto to discover Hansik — one bowl, one bite, one neighborhood at a time. This garden design program shows you how to use a pollen chart to determine what plants give the most nectar and pollen during spring, summer, and fall, in order to provide the most nourishment for beneficial pollinators, including honeybees and our native bees. 

Plant selection criteria highlights native plants and includes an aesthetic-only garden, an edible and/or healing herbal garden, or a mix. Learn also how best to prepare for winter to support and protect pollinator populations.

The North York Central Library and its neighbourhood is home to a variety of trees. Join the City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff to explore the natural world on a local neighbourhood walk. Learn how to recognize different species and fun facts about their cultural and ecological importance.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.

Please note, the tour will start and end at the North York Central Library, Room 1, and will be guided by the City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff. There may be uneven, unpaved surfaces along the route. Please dress and prepare accordingly for this outdoor program (e.g. hats, sunscreen, water, comfortable shoes).

Run Powered Scale Models

All models constructed are a scaled down version of a real ship. The model is then fitted out for radio control and operates on the water.

At Metro Marine Modellers we construct models for fun and to museum quality. Building a model to work on the water is more about model engineering, having fun while we do it and having a great day at the pond.
